The E-commerce Law and its 2022 amendment separate the obligations of a marketplace from those of a seller on it, ETBİS registration is mandatory, distance sales are governed by consumer protection rules with strict withdrawal and information duties, and every marketing email or SMS needs consent recorded in the İYS system.
